Cat Glued to Interstate 90 in South Dakota
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — An animal rescue center in Sioux Falls, S.D., says an anonymous Yankton man is offering a $1,000 reward in the case of a cat found glued to Interstate 90 just across the border in Minnesota.
Second Chance Rescue Center Director Rosey Quinn says travelers found the cat on Dec. 18 and brought it to the center. She says the orange tabby had injuries to its feet and nose and was thin, and it died five days later despite the efforts of veterinarians to save it.
Quinn says in her 13 years she's never seen such a horrific case of animal abuse.
The reward is for information leading to a conviction in the case.

Forever Friends Rescue does NOT own a facility where animals can be viewed at all times. Most of the resced animals are in foster homes with people who have decided to step up and make a difference. Our rescue is based upon foster homes, our own hard work, and volunteers, to meet any pet:

We do not own the property that the main rescue is lovated on and we really do not wish for anyone to be mistaken as a trespasser. Please be respectful and condsiderate and call ahead of time to set up a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. To ensure that it can be arranged with the foster family and for us to be home for your to view your next possible companion, please make an appointment!

As a new feature to you, the public, Forever Friends Rescue has made the adoption application online! This will be reviewed and printed out. No need to print yourself (unless you wish to)! No need to fill out the whole thing in person. All you need is a computer with an internet connection!

We will then fill it out on our computer, print it, and have you review it if you decide to adopt. Everyone is required a Meet & Greet so that they can meet the animal they are interested in adopting. A couple of additional papers will need to be signed, dated, and complete before the adoption can be completed. After that, you are free to take your new companion home!
Just A Common Courtesy
If you are calling about an available pet and you have set up a time to "meet and greet" please have a common courtesy to call in advance if you plan to not show up. It is very frustrating to waste your day away on a person who isnt going to show up. We wont ask questions, we will thank you for your interest.
